Incan Death Rites Workshop and Ceremony hosted by Jaki Daniels Note: This event is currently full but contact admin@earthandskyhealing.com to be placed on a waiting list or to be informed of the next Incan Death Rites ceremony.

Even in the times of the ancient Incan peoples it was recognized that shedding our skin, letting go of what no longer served, and allowing new beginnings and transformations to enter our lives without hindrance from past events and traumas, was not only challenging but sometimes a significant barrier to moving forward. This ceremony addresses that need. Participants will be supported in shedding their skin with the help of two Elders and a time honoured ritual that releases the light body from the physical one for a short time, providing a valuable opportunity for releasing before the re-connection is made. This is a day long workshop. Participants will spend the day on the side of the mountain, exploring their life, their past, and their hopes for the future. The culminating ceremony will be held at dusk, approx. 7:30pm. Once the ceremony is complete we will return to our cabin and gather together around a sacred fire. Date: Saturday, September 28, 2019 Location: Crowsnest Mountain in the Crowsnest Pass Fee: $225.00 plus gst (not including food or accommodation) - Limited enrollment Contact admin@earthandskyhealing.com to request more info.

Exploring Meditation with Jaki Daniels

The Art of Aromatherapy Level 1 : A Personal Journey to the Heart of the Medicine with Jaki Daniels

This course focuses on developing a deep understanding of 10 essential oils. Our vehicles into the heart of the medicine will be personal experience, intuitive knowing, and the shamanic journey which allows us to be guided by the inherent wisdom of the plants themselves. This 10 week course focuses on two key aspects of aromatherapy: developing a deep understanding of 10 essential oils and where possible, the plants themselves; and the practical considerations of using essential oils as medicine. Shamanic journeying experience is a prerequisite to this class. Harvest Fire Ceremony

hosted by Jaki Daniels

As the days shorten and we approach the long dark night it is wise to take stock of what the passing year has brought into our lives. Our awareness of the fruits of our labors and the reserves we have gathered will help us through the cold winter ahead. Please join us for a ceremonial fire to celebrate the gifts of the harvest and to warm us with sharing, community and song. The ceremony will be led by spiritual elder Jaki Daniels Ceremony begins at 7:30 pm (please arrive a few minutes early). In the Cree Tradition there are no fees to attend a ceremony but a donation to the Elder in the spirit of reciprocity and acknowledgement is gratefully received. Please bring a folding chair, a blanket, a thermos of tea if you would like, and clothing appropriate to the weather. If you attended a Spring ceremony and made prayer ties, please bring them. Date: Friday Nov 1 Location: Please RSVP to receive location and directions.

Harvest Fire RSVP

Community Fires hosted by Diane Martin

Coming together around a sacred fire is a way to honour our heart and soul. Songs and stories gently nudge us to be open to ourselves and others in a good way. Gathering with Grandfather Fire creates the sacred space that feels honouriing and allows us to be vulnerable in a way that is not often appropriate in other parts of our lives. When we allow for the truly authentic to shine through, we open ourselves and others to our true nature and gifts. We learn to live in relationship with people and the earth in a different way.

Dates: Friday Sept 13, Friday Oct 25, Friday Nov 22nd Location: North Calgary location
