Healthy Eating For Kids

 

This one evening class will focus on the children in the family and how to feed them well. It is not simply an evening of recipes and techniques, but an overview of what children need, including:

 

- an understanding of the role of appetite
- what to do when children won’t eat
- eating during times of illness
- food sensitivities and limited diets
- how to feed a picky eater
- what foods should form the basis of the diet
- how much variety is needed
- ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

 

 

The needs of children aged 2 through 16 will be covered.
